Ok this is serious how do people pull off up trades? Cause I’m coming into a small collection of vintage firearms of unknown quality but even for perfect example I can’t be over $500 total value. How ever I’d like to turn them into a cheap boat but how?
and Cause I know people will ask they I’m getting the following. Photos are for reference and not of the actual guns I wont have em till saturday.
Winchester model 1300 waterfowl from early production so I’m told.
Mossberge and model 142a 1960's
jc higgins model 1017 1940's
haggins and richardson topper 88 unknown year of MFG
So how do I turn these into a boat?!?

Sell them to your local gun store? Seems simplistic, but I’d imagine that’s the best way.

reverse engineer the trade for the boat. What would a guy trading a boat need (other than a bigger boat)?
Odds are it’d be either something for the wife or the yard. If it’s for the wife it’s a new kitchen.
So trade the guns for appliances and then do the counters and cabinetry and drive off with his boat, haha.
Seriously though, start from the boat and see what they are looking to trade for. Then see what people who have them are looking to take on trade, etc.

Armslist?
Frequent some relevant gun forums with exchanges?
Would be best to sell and collect what you can to buy a boat.

Not joking, you probably could trade them for a boat on CL in Florida. I’ve seen many things for sale where guns were an acceptable trade.

Well I might be interested in the haggins and richardson topper 88 and Winchester model 1300. Maybe even the Mossberg. At that point I’d take the other too.....
Depending on when you get them.

You have guns, just take the boat.

hang out at your local boat ramp WITH the shotguns. pick yourself out one you like, and drive off with it. shouldnt have much argument while youre holding the shotguns.........

People who like boats usually like guns.

Nice collection. I would keep them, buy thousands of rounds of ammunition and hold up on my cabin in the woods.

go to two gun stores and compare prices?
Also at least with a gun store you wont risk meeting super sketchy people in a parking lot.

I have a 110 Mercury and a trailer sitting at my dad’s place.
I’d think about those guns for those pieces, you’d just need a hull Lol

I’d try to auctions a few of them off on a dedicated gun site like this one. http://www.gunbroker.com/

not sure yet. I haven’t seen the guns in person not sure what condition they are in. I’ll have them on Saturday. I don’t even know what gage it’s in.
